It really has been a busy week as far as Martha Grace is concerned. With three hospital visits on Sunday and two on Tuesday - I am starting to get fed up with the NG tube now. She is so active, and I think she is aware that something is taped to her cheek so she wants to take it off.
Thing is, if she wants to take it off she needs to start making a real effort with her bottle - she's bit hit'n'miss at the moment. She might take 20ml orally for one feed, but for her next feed she might as much as 70ml. But until she can finish it all herself that tube is staying where it is.
The health visitor called to see us again yesterday and Martha now weighs 4.94Kg which is 80g more than
last week, so she's heading in the right direction.
As you can see from the pictures she is so much more like her old self by now - she's a really happy baby which is amazing considering what she's been through.
