I think this is the first school Holidays I've actually enjoyed since before we found out about Martha's Heart Condition. We've had a lovely couple of weeks; we've been to Cheshire Oaks, Dinas Dinlle, Gypsy Wood, Criccieth and Caernarfon Airword Museum.
Martha has come on in leaps and bounds since she caught the nasty tummy bug a few weeks ago and you can read about her latest progress here. However, as those who follow our Facebook page will know - Martha took her NG tube out twice this week, the first time we took our local for a replacement; but on Friday evening we decided that we'd leave her without it.
We've also set up a Just Giving page as our good friend Steven Owen is taking part in the Chester Half Marathon on the 18th May. He's running on behalf of The Sick Children's Trust - a charity very close to us because we stayed in one of their house during Martha's admission to GOSH. It would really mean a lot to us if you could please help us by sponsoring Steve and donating to this cause.
We're off to Great Ormond Street Hospital in the morning, it's time for Martha Grace to have a Cardiac Review and 24hr ECG Holter. Although it's been amazing to see how well she's doing these past few weeks, we never really know what's going on inside. Please keep us in your thoughts tomorrow.
Thank you
GM
