It's been half term this week; and while I love my kids dearly I can't wait to get back to some routine. I only work two days a week and this week I took those days as Holiday's so that I could have a proper week off with the kids.
We've had plenty to do this week; on Sunday we went out with my side of the family to celebrate my Auntie's Birthday (I don't think she'll forgive me if I publish her actual age). Monday we had a day at my
Grandparents house with their cousins. Tuesday we made Pancakes and ate them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Wednesday we had a lazy(ish) day where Osh went to his Dad's after lunch and Isabella went with her Auntie to watch a Frozen sing-along (poor Martha was stuck with Mammi) It was our 4th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday so we took the kids to Carden Park Hotel for the night (more on that in a later post) and on Friday we visited Blue Planet Aquarium on the way home. Saturday was back to boring errands and we did the food shop...but to make up for that we did have lunch at a Cafe in town. When we got home I made a roast dinner...I may have cheated and bought a ready cooked chicken and pre-chopped carrot and swede - but it was a roast dinner none-the-less.
I am typing this post late on Saturday night but by the time it's published it will be Sunday which is my Birthday...hopefully I've been woken up by breakfast in bed and Mark has something lovely planned for the day.
I hope you've all had a lovely half term week.
