Monday was absolutely beautiful here on Anglesey, I'd already spent the morning in the Garden with the kids playing with my camera but I was in the mood to venture out with them. My mam was super busy in work so she couldn't take the afternoon off to come with us somewhere but suggested we have an early dinner and head straight to the beach.
We decided to go to Cable Bay, which is a few minutes away from Rhosneigr. This was my favourite beach as a child (my current favourite is Pwllheli) As it was almost 7pm the beach was relatively quiet and I had no trouble finding somewhere to park...but the Ice Cream van was leaving just as we arrived and the kids weren't impressed.
Martha wasn't too keen on the sand on her feet when we first got there, she kept trying to raise her legs so that her feet weren't on the sand. We kept pouring sand on her so eventually she got used to it. We brought a bucket and some spades from home with us and to be fair to the kids - they were all really good. Mam had packed a few mini tubes of Pringles and a bottle of Tango with some tumblers - so we had a drink and a snack (it was too warm for a panad)
Today is miserable, blustery and wet - I can't wait for the weather to warm up so that we can head out and I can take a few more photo's...I'm still loving my camera.
